This tour takes the discerning visitor to every popular destination that a Buddhist Pilgrim would want to see and experience – the humble & detached practice of Buddhism in the Island.

Is it time to be grateful to the Buddha for enabling us to ‘see’ the truth ? This tour has been organized to serve those who wish to sightsee the holy Buddhist sites, to be detached, silent & not be disturbed by anyone or anything which would lead to the arousal of the ego, mind, name, identity, person or one’s body. You are welcome to Be in the Presence in the Now ! While walking, traveling & Observing one can be detached.

Day 01
Arrival / Negombo
Bandaranaike International Airport. - Hotel

On Arrival you will be received by our Tour Executive & then you will be introduced to the Guide / Tour Leader. You'll be boarded into our limousine with the baggage & dropped off at the hotel. Later you'll be chauffeur driven to take a Panoramic view of the capital, from 260 meters above sea level to Colombo's brand new 'Lotus' Tower. After taking a "bird’s eye view" of the nearby ocean, the skyline & the sprawling settlement below, you may want to enjoy a variety of entertainment options in the complex. Day 02
Negombo / Yapahuwa / Anuradhapura – Transfer
Visit the Yapahuwa Holy Temple – Witness genuine Buddhist monks barefooted, detached & in Mindfulness meditation setting an example to be aloof of everything that’s happening around them in an unassuming small temple, cave monastery, Bo tree & neat temple garden simply 'Observing' what's going on & you visiting them. Visit the Holy Shrine at Anuradhapura, where the 1st Bo tree was planted to invite the teachings of the Buddha adorned with a golden fence around it. Setting an example to protect trees & the environment

Stroll around the gardens to find devotees & monks in Meditation stepping away from the things & thoughts of the world & concentrating on Emptiness & Nothingness in the Presence, in the Now, glimpsing at the timelessness of the Ultimate or Absolute Reality

Day 03
Visit some of the 8 Temples of Anuradhapura including the Holy Brazen Palace – Lovamahapaya, Isurumuniya, Thuparamaya, Ratna Prasada, Isurumuniya, Lankaramaya, Abayagiri etc.
Visit Mihintale Rock where the Buddha had secluded himself to Be detached from everything else in the Universe.

Discover the ancient ruins of the Temples of Buddhism in the most beautifully shaped island in the world. Walk in the woods, bushes, & the incredible gardens, lawns & courtyards which are beautifully landscaped to enable one to sit & meditate like a metaphysical warrior in Solitude.

Day 04
Stone Temple Rock Sculpture (‘Gal Vihara') at Polonnaruwa & the 1st Hospital erected for ancient healing therapy such as Ayurveda on the planet, see all the structures built in stone at Medirigiriya.
En route: Visit Vatadage Quadrangle built to display the Buddha’s Relics & Hetadage an ancient shrine also built later to house the Tooth Relic of the Buddha

Day 05
Sigiriya / Dambulla / Kandy - Transfer
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress to see the Sunrise with picnic breakfast En route: Visit the Dambulla Rock Temple – UNESCO World Heritage Site See the 2nd Century BC Murals, Paintings, Carvings & Sculpture created by devotees & spiritually aligned Monks expressing their love for the wisdom disseminated to the Truth that we keep coming back & back to through the 'sutras' of the Buddha.

Visit The Sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic – Dalada Maligawa

Kandy / Nuwara Eliya - Transfer
Explore the Central Highlands – on ‘slow’ medieval Rolling Stocks Elevation over 2300 meters above sea level, Drive through the Misty blue mountains, Tea Fields, plantations, estates, turpentine, pine, eucalyptus trees & grasslands for cattle & vegetation of a chilly temperate climate.

Explore the Victorian Architecture to compare with Buddhist Structures in ‘Little England’ amidst well landscaped Parks, Golf & Race Courses

Day 10
Bandarawela / Adam’s Peak Transfer
En route : Visit Haputale Viewpoint to see the Southern Plains Climb the “Adam's Peak" – Sri Pada, where a footprint of the Buddha is imprinted on the rock at the peak of the solitary Hill 2200 meters above sea level. Magical sunsetting on the westside awaits the discerning.

In the evening we've booked you to do a 'Hands On'Cookery Class to prepare Vegetarian & Meat Alternative dishes. In 2-3 hours, you get to learn how to cook 7 of your favorite Sri Lankan dishes, including a dessert and taste what you created with your own hands.

Day 11
Dalhousie / Colombo - Transfer
En route: Sight See the 'mountainline' of hills & mountains, 'table' mountain & the 'wall' mountain on the descension to the sea level

On arrival in Colombo, take a City Tour of the Capital Visit the National Museum, the Colonial buildings of Colombo Fort, Hultfdorp, Dutch Hospital Mall, Old Parliament (built to emulate Greek Architecture – Acropolis of Athens), Arcade Mall, Galle Face Green with Dutch Canons, Victoria Park, Nawala Park, Bellanwila Park, & the Water Park near Avissawella, which is a fun place to play & chill.
